New Site to Play on

I'm looking for a new site to play on. I like FTP, but no longer get rakeback. I will keep some funds on FTP, but would like to accomplish a couple of things here:
1)Get rakeback
2)Play in the rakeback freerolls (a lot of free cash)
3)See if I can find some softer cash games (although FTP has some pretty soft ones)
4)Find some more aggressive frequent player rewards than FTP has

I would like for YOU to tell me where else you play and why you like it (or why you think I would like it)
I greatly appreciate any feedback you have.

I haven't opened the account yet but I heard Bodog is a good site. Check out smokkee's blog at smokkee.blogspot.com. I'm sure he'll appreciate it if you open the rakeback acct through him also. I think it's rakebreak.com or something. Even though it doesn't say on their front page, I think you get like 25% rakeback.

Now you said you no longer get rakeback from FTP. Did you used to get it and they changed it? Or did you never have it? Please let me know. Thanks.

I had tried playing on Fulltilt poker in the past under the ID jamyhawk and was also playing at Pokerstars. I found that I preferred playing at pokerstars so I stopped playing at Fulltilt.

In may of 2007, I started reading poker blogger’s sites such as http://hammerplayer.blogspot.com/ and http://alcanthang.blogspot.com/ and http://mookie99.bigopokerroom.com/ and of course http://pokertachi.blogspot.com/. I started learning about rakeback and the blogger tournaments they were promoting. I decided to give fulltilt another try while starting my own poker blog: http://jamyhawk.blogspot.com/ . The bloggers I contacted suggested that I get into rakeback, so I signed up through raketherake.com . I read that I needed to sign up a new account with fulltilt, so that is what I did. I wanted to keep the same name so I added a 2 and opened up jamyhawk2. I did not know this was a violation of fulltilt’s policies. They found out I had two accounts when I went to withdraw funds from my recent winnings. They quickly closed my account -the one getting rakeback, but let me transfer my funds -thankfully.

My understanding is that fulltilt ended letting current players sign up for rakeback due to abuses by promoting rakeback in the chats.

I would prefer to play 100% on fulltilt rather than open a bodog or absolutepoker account, but the rakeback site I was using www.raketherake.com has a very lucrative freeroll each month, and I would like to find a way to play in it (even if I have to play at a different site than FTP). So that's why I am looking.

I did contact FTP about getting rakeback and they just failed to respond. Actually, support emailed me and said I need to contact their affiliate department. The affiliate department never responded.

I play at Absoulte as well through RTR... Give RTR an email as they can sometimes get an account changed over to rakeback. ThisIsTheNuts did it for my FTP account a while back
