Online Cheaters?

Today, I read on Alan's site about a situation at Absolute Poker where a player wins a $1,000 tournament and may have know everyone else's hole cards throughout the tournament.
Check out this article and this blog.

This is some scary SHIT! I am not sure if I should believe it yet or not, but it definitely makes me want to NOT risk any real sizable money in online poker.

Believe it. There is a ton of evidence out there. The two people in on it are two former members of the management team at AP who are no longer there.

Hey Bud,

It's sad that people can be so dishonest, however it doesn't surprise me. With thousands upon thousands of people playing online poker, the temptation to cheat for some is irresistible. No matter where gambling is located, online or brick and mortar, there will always be someone trying to work an edge and cheat honest players out of their money. This doesn’t discourage me in playing online manly because it’s been a profitable adventure and I have no reason to suspect I’ve been a victim of a cheater. I have a lot more to comment on this subject but right now I have limited time. I may post something later tonight about this on my blog, I think it’s an interesting subject and one that should be discussed by all Internet poker players.
