Being one of those loyal Broncos fans who didn't think Shanahan should have been fired, I can only congratulate the Washington Redskins and their fans.
Shanahan will get the Redskins back into contention, if not first place by the end of his 2nd year.
So sorry for you Cowboys fans and Eagles fans (Giants don't matter)....
Thank God he didn't come back into the AFC West....

What impressed you most with Shanahan? Was it the way he let Cutler do whatever he wanted with the ball and sling it all over the field? Or the way his players despised him? Or no, is it the 1 playoff win in 9 years since John Elway stopped being his quarterback?
This is a bad hire me thinks and one that Danny Boy will be hearing about for a long time to come in Washington.
I agree with Hoy. Shanahan is no savior. He did more harm than good in Denver. Yeah the superbowls were nice but Elway and company handled most of that. Shanahan just had to stay out of the way.
It will be fun to watch Shanahan work with Danny Boy.
